Google Ads management

Google Ads management services for budgets under $10k a month

Most agencies will not take you seriously unless you spend $2,500 a month on their fee alone. We manage Google Ads for contractors, trades, and local practices spending $1,500 to $10,000 a month on ads, and we measure the work in booked jobs, not clicks.

  • EM Landscape & Design: $500K+ closed from under $30K in ad spend, roughly a 16x return
  • Four Corners Concrete Coatings: $300K+ closed in three months across Google Ads and LSA
  • BNC Builders: campaign structure and tracking rebuilt so every dollar is built to trace to a call or form

Where it gets stuck

A clear problem is enough to start.

  • Ad spend rises every month with no clear view of booked work.
  • Every service and city is dumped into one campaign, so budget flows to the wrong jobs.
  • Calls, forms, and sales live in different places and nobody reconciles them.
  • The landing page does not match the search or the ad, so clicks never become calls.
  • The previous agency reported "conversions" that turned out to be page views or junk calls.

What the work can include

The pieces are scoped before the work begins.

01

Account and campaign structure split by service and location, so you can cut what does not pay

02

Weekly keyword and search-term management, with negatives added to stop paying for the wrong searches

03

Ad copy written for your trade: the service, the area, and the reason to call you

04

Landing pages that match the ad and give one obvious next step

05

Call and form conversion tracking installed before the first dollar is spent

06

Monthly reporting in plain language: spend, leads, lead quality, and what became booked work

Process

Understand it. Build it. Check it.

01

Audit and rebuild

We review the existing account (or build a new one), install call and form tracking, and organize campaigns around the services and cities you want work in.

02

Match the page to the ad

Each campaign gets a landing page that answers the search clearly. If your site cannot support that, we tell you before spending.

03

Manage and report

Weekly search-term and bid management, monthly reporting on spend, leads, and lead quality, and budget changes only when the outcome data supports them.

The budget gap

Google Ads management services for the budget big agencies ignore

The large PPC agencies price their service for companies spending $25,000 a month or more. Their minimum fees start around $2,500 a month, which makes no sense if your entire ad budget is $3,000.

That leaves most local service businesses with two options: run the account yourself between jobs, or hand it to a freelancer with no tracking and no reporting. We built this service for the gap in between.

What that means in practice:

  • A flat monthly management fee, starting at $499 a month, that stays reasonable next to your ad spend
  • Campaigns organized around the services and cities you actually want work in
  • Call and form tracking installed before the first dollar is spent
  • Monthly reporting that talks about leads and booked work, not impressions

If you spend more than $10k a month, we can still help, but this page is written for the owner spending $1,500 to $10,000 who has never had an agency treat that budget with respect.

Structure

Campaign structure decides what a job costs you

The most common account we inherit has one campaign called something like "Leads" with every service and every city inside it. Google spends that budget wherever clicks are cheapest, which is rarely where your best jobs are. Cheap water heater searches subsidize the repipe keywords. The city you are trying to grow in starves while the one you are already saturated in eats the budget.

We structure accounts so the budget answers to you. Campaigns are split by service and location, so kitchen remodels in Escondido and decks in Carlsbad each have their own budget, their own ads, and their own cost per lead. When a line of work does not pay, you cut that line, not the whole account.

Then the weekly work starts. We review the actual searches that triggered your ads and add negatives so you stop paying for job seekers, DIY research, and cities you do not serve. Over 60 to 90 days, that search-term data is what turns a guessed budget into a defensible cost per lead.

Ad copy is written for your trade: the service, the area, and the reason to call you. No generic marketing lines, because the person searching "emergency drain cleaning" does not want a brand story. They want to know you do it, you are close, and you answer the phone.

The landing page

Why the landing page has to match the ad

Half of what people call an ads problem is a landing page problem. Someone searches for paver patios, clicks an ad about paver patios, and lands on a homepage about "full-service outdoor solutions." They do not scroll to find the patio section. They leave, and you paid for the visit.

Every campaign we run gets a landing page that answers the search it came from: the same service in the headline, proof the work is real, the service area in plain text, and one obvious next step. Google rewards that match with better Quality Scores and cheaper clicks, but the real payoff is simpler: people call pages that answer their question.

If your current site cannot support pages like this, we tell you before spending, not after. Building focused landing pages is part of what we do, and it is often the highest-leverage fix in an underperforming account.

Honest measurement

Tracking that ties spend to booked jobs

Before any campaign launches, call and form tracking is installed and test-fired. Every call and every form is recorded with the campaign and keyword that produced it, so the monthly report is not Google grading its own homework. You see spend, tracked leads, lead quality, and what became booked work, in plain language.

That is how you get results you can audit. EM Landscape & Design closed $500K+ in work from under $30K in ad spend, roughly a 16x return, because tracking let us cut the keywords that produced tire kickers and feed the ones that produced signed projects. Four Corners Concrete Coatings closed $300K+ in three months across Google Ads and Local Services Ads on the same measurement discipline. And when BNC Builders came to us, the account's reported conversions did not survive contact with a tracking audit; the spend was real, the measurement was not. We rebuilt the structure and tracking so every dollar is built to trace to a call or form.

The same honesty applies before you spend. Google Ads is not always the right channel. Below roughly $1,500 a month in ad budget, most local markets cannot generate enough click data to optimize, and we will usually point you at Local Services Ads or local SEO instead. If your trade's clicks cost more than your margins can carry, we will say that too. An agency paid a percentage of spend has a reason to keep you spending; a flat fee makes it easier for us to tell you no.

Pricing

Management from $499 a month.

Our Google Ads management starts at $499 a month for ad budgets up to $10k a month, with no percentage-of-spend markup and no long-term contract. Percentage pricing pays the agency more when you spend more, whether or not the extra spend works; a flat fee keeps the incentive on making the budget produce jobs. Setup (account build or rebuild, tracking installation, landing page review) is quoted separately based on the state of the account.
