Local SEO services

Local SEO services that make the phone ring

We put contractors, trades, and practices in the map pack and on page one for the searches that turn into calls and booked work. Real packages, monthly reporting you can read in five minutes, and named clients you can look up yourself.

  • #1 Google ranking earned for BNC Builders (exterior remodeling Escondido)
  • 52,950% organic traffic growth for Salt Creek Dental, from a near-zero starting point
  • $300K+ closed in three months for Four Corners Concrete Coatings (Google Ads, LSA, and local SEO working together)

Where it gets stuck

A clear problem is enough to start.

  • Google picks three businesses for the map pack and a handful for page one. Everyone else waits for referrals.
  • One piece of local SEO gets done while the profile, citations, pages, and reviews sit ignored, so the site stays on page two.
  • Every service is crammed onto one general Services page while competitors take the rankings one search at a time.
  • Reports show rankings without the calls and form fills that actually pay you.

What the work can include

The pieces are scoped before the work begins.

01

Google Business Profile optimization and month-after-month upkeep, because a stale profile slides

02

Citations and listings cleanup across the directories Google cross-checks

03

Service pages that match real searches: one page per service you actually sell

04

Location and service-area pages with real local detail, never thin pages that swap a city name

05

On-page work, structured data, and internal links that also feed AI search results

06

A review ask-and-reply system your team will actually use

07

Technical health: speed, mobile usability, crawl errors, and indexing

08

Monthly reporting with rankings, traffic, calls, and form fills on one page

Process

Understand it. Build it. Check it.

01

Months 1 to 2: Foundation

Full audit, Google Business Profile rebuild, technical fixes, citation cleanup, and the service-page plan. Profile activity (calls, direction requests) usually moves first.

02

Months 3 to 4: Pages and proof

Service and location pages go live, structured data ships, and the review system starts running. Rankings for lower-competition searches start moving here.

03

Months 5 to 6: Position taking

The compounding starts. Map pack appearances grow, the harder keywords climb, and calls from organic search become a line you can see in the report.

04

Ongoing: Defend and expand

New pages for new services and areas, fresh content, profile upkeep, and monthly reporting. Rankings you stop maintaining are rankings a competitor takes back.

The map pack

What local SEO services actually buy you

Local SEO is the work that makes your business show up when someone nearby searches for what you do: in the map pack, in the organic results under it, and increasingly in AI answers. When a homeowner types "drywall repair near me" or "emergency plumber" into their phone, Google picks three businesses for the map pack and a handful for page one. Everyone else waits for referrals.

Those searches are not browsing. Google's own research found that 76% of people who search for something nearby on their phone visit a related business within a day, and 28% of those searches end in a purchase. For a local service company, a map pack position is not a marketing metric. It is a phone that rings.

The map pack and the organic results below it are also different contests. The map pack is decided mostly by your Google Business Profile, your reviews, and your proximity to the searcher. The organic listings are decided mostly by the pages on your website and the authority behind them. A business can win one and lose the other, which is why chasing only one of them leaves calls on the table.

Here is the part most agencies skip: local SEO is not one thing. It is your Google Business Profile, your citations across directories, the service and location pages on your website, your reviews, your site's technical health, and the links between all of it. Do one piece and ignore the rest, and you stay on page two. Do them together, in the right order, and you take positions from competitors who have been coasting on an old profile and a slow website.

That is the whole service: we do them together, in the right order, and we show you the numbers every month.

Pages that rank

Why thin city pages fail

Every trade has seen them: twenty near-identical pages, "Plumber in Carlsbad," "Plumber in Vista," "Plumber in Oceanside," each one the same paragraph with the city name swapped. Google stopped rewarding that years ago, and it embarrasses your brand in front of the one visitor who reads two of them.

The pages that rank are the ones with something real on them. One page per service you actually sell, because "kitchen remodeling" and "bathroom remodeling" are different searches with different buyers. Most competitors cram everything onto one general Services page; that is the opening. And location pages only for the cities and neighborhoods you genuinely serve, with real local detail: the jobs you have done there, the neighborhoods you know, the reviews from that zip code.

We built 16 of these across San Diego County for Teknik Design & Remodeling, all indexed clean. That is the standard: pages Google indexes without complaint and a homeowner can read without wincing.

The same on-page work, titles, headings, internal links, and structured data, is what feeds the AI search results that now sit on top of many local queries. Thin pages get skipped there too. Substance is the whole game.

Hiring guide

What to look for in a local SEO company

Whether you call it a local SEO company, a local SEO consultant, or a local SEO agency, you are buying the same thing: someone who takes positions in your market and proves it. Before you hire anyone, including us, check five things.

  1. Named clients. If every case study is "a leading home services brand," ask why nobody will put their name on the work. Our clients are named, and their rankings are checkable from your own phone.
  2. A straight answer on price. Six of the seven biggest agencies we studied hide pricing behind a sales script. We quote local SEO after a market review, and the quote spells out exactly what sets the number.
  3. An honest timeline. 3 to 6 months to meaningful movement. Anyone who says faster is measuring something that does not pay you.
  4. Reporting on calls, not just rankings. Rank tracking is easy to inflate. Calls and form fills from organic search are the number that matters, and that is what our reports lead with.
  5. The people doing the work. At a 750-person agency you get an account manager. Here you get the small San Diego team that actually builds the pages and runs the profiles.

One more red flag worth naming: guarantees. Nobody can guarantee a number-one ranking, because results change by query, location, device, and Google update. A guaranteed ranking is a sales tactic, not a service.

Measurement

We measure inquiries, not rankings

A ranking report can be inflated by tracking keywords nobody searches. An inquiry cannot. Every month you see rankings, traffic, calls, and form fills on one page, and the report leads with the calls, because that is the number that pays you. If we cannot connect the work to inquiries, we tell you that too.

The results we publish follow the same rule. Salt Creek Dental grew organic traffic 52,950% in a year, from a near-zero starting point, and that qualifier matters: the percentage is huge because the starting point was almost nothing, which is exactly where many local practices sit. What counts is where it ended, on page one for the searches patients actually use. BNC Builders holds the #1 spot in Google for exterior remodeling Escondido in a competitive Southern California remodeling market. Four Corners Concrete Coatings closed $300K+ in three months with Google Ads, LSA, and local SEO sharing one tracking setup.

Local SEO is quoted after a market review, because the honest price depends on your competition, your service list, and how fast you want to move. What never changes: no long-term contract, the work is month to month after the initial build phase, and you own everything we create, the pages, the profile, the tracking, all of it.
